Every year as a MOPS group, we participate in a service project. This year we’ve decided to focus on The Bloom Closet.
The Bloom Closet provides children living in foster care on the south side of metro Atlanta with free clothing, baby gear, books, and school supplies (9 out of 10 of children arrive into the foster care system with nothing but the clothes on their backs!) Their mission is to make foster children feel special. Because they are.
We ask that you bring 2-3 of your table’s assigned item this week or to the next meeting. All products need to be full sized, not trial.
Here’s the breakdown by table:
Green (Naomi) – Shampoo
Pink (Staci) – Deodorant
Purple (Angela) – Toothpaste
Orange (Amy) – Toothbrush
Blue (Abby) – Soap
Yellow (Samantha) – Brush/Hair accessories
We will be packing bags of these greatly needed supplies on the Nov 15th meeting, but we wanted to try and get as much as possible brought in this week.
They are also in need of tampons, sanitary pads, diapers, pull ups, and boy’s pants (new or gently used size 3T through 14/16). If anyone feels lead to bring these items as well, please do.
Thank you, ladies, for supporting these children!
