September 30 – Service Project

starryeyednewsletterHello Starry Eyed Sisters! It’s time to get ready for another MOPS Friday! This week we’ll introduce our service project for the year, RACE for the Orphans. Founder Kelly Preston will be there to tell us all about the wonderful work they do helping local adopting families to bring their children home. We’ll also make a piggy bank craft to help us save our spare change throughout the year for RACE for the Orphans. It’ll be a great visual to show our kids how small contributions on our part can make a big difference to help others!

Reminders:

  • Brunch is being provided by the Gold Orion and Purple Little Dipper tables

  • Continue to bring in your completed registration packets

  • If you haven’t yet, please bring in a peanut-free snack to share (such as a box of Cheerios or animal crackers)

  • When you check your child into their Moppets room, use the roll of tape by the sign in sheet to make a quick name tag for your kiddo

  • Bring a cup with your child’s name on it

  • Mark your calendar – our next meeting is NEXT FRIDAY, October 7
